by Emily Condlin and Amy Brinker|May, 2015

We’re excited to announce the launch of PenguinRandomHouse.com, our new public-facing website, which showcases Penguin Random House titles and makes it easier than ever for consumers to find their next great read. The new site, created in-house, also offers enhanced author information and other features to connect authors and readers more seamlessly than ever.

Discovering and Finding Books

With thousands of newly published books to choose from every year, finding a great new read can feel overwhelming. PenguinRandomHouse.com makes it easier than ever to discover new and interesting books, as well as classic and backlist titles, through its clean design, sophisticated genre pages, and suggestions based on bestsellers, reader category preferences, and more.

For readers who know what they are looking for, PenguinRandomHouse.com makes it easy to filter by genre, sub-genre, and even sub-sub-genre pages. Whether you like hard or soft science fiction, paranormal romance, or space operas, the site makes it easy to locate and explore specific areas of interest, no matter when a book was published.

Connecting Authors and Readers

Author profile pages are central to the reader experience on PenguinRandomHouse.com, and provide a launch pad for developing reader/author relationships beyond a single book. Enhanced author pages showcase author photographs, video interviews, social media handles, and tour and event dates, and provide easy access to a writer’s body of work.

While visiting, readers can sign up for author-specific email messages for every Penguin Random House author, and receive up-to-date notifications about new releases, upcoming appearances, and other news and events. Links to author- and book-specific websites give readers access to behind-the-scenes information about the titles and authors they love.

People who love to read created PenguinRandomHouse.com, and the site presents books and authors in the way readers think about books. Visit PenguinRandomHouse.com to learn more, and see how it brings our community of authors and their books to readers.
