The Consumer Marketing team, in partnership with the Penguin Random House LGBTQ+ Network, is excited to announce the launch of Pride in Your Words 2023!
Building on the success of last year’s campaign and based on feedback from consumers and colleagues across the company, this year we’re launching a dedicated, evergreen site that makes it easy for readers to discover and explore LGBTQ+ books. The Pride in Your Words website is an ever-expanding collection of more than 250 books from queer authors, curated to help readers find exactly what they’re looking for.
“While we’re launching this site to coincide with Pride 2023, our vision is for this to be an always evolving and ever-growing destination that celebrates queer voices every day of the year—reinforcing our commitment to publishing (and amplifying!) books for everyone,” said Adam Royce, VP, Creative Strategy.
To complement and drive traffic to the site, we’re also publishing the second edition of the Pride in Your Words zine. As with last year, consumers can sign up to access the digital issue or receive one of 1,000 printed copies by mail. You can view the digital issue here.
The zine includes a letter from the LGBTQ+ Network, excerpts from five new books, author interviews, a 2023 LGBTQ+ reading list, a feature on Drag Story Hour, and Q&As with queer booksellers from across the country.
