In case you missed it, the Author Portal has gone through a few minor changes this month.
Along with updating the site’s appearance to better match Penguin Random House branding, we have enhanced the log-in and registration systems. The impact to you is minimal unless you choose to update any of your log-in details.
Previously, you updated these details within the Author Portal itself; now you will click on your username, which will open your Account Settings in a new tab.
Once you land on this site, you will find several tabs with different functions:
- My Profile: Change your Author Portal username and contact phone number.
- Password: Change your password.
- Security: Update your multi-factor authentication details, including adding additional verification methods.
- Applications and Sessions: View other Penguin Random House sites your account may be connected with and see if you have any active sessions on these applications. Other systems that use this new log-in infrastructure include Penguin Random House Self-Service, Penguin Random House Permissions, and PenguinRandomHouse.com.
A special note for our PRH Author Users: To update contract participant personal details, such as home/mailing address and date of birth, go to the “Author Information” page under “Author Details” in the site navigation.
