This May, the Creative Strategy team at PRH is thrilled to continue its Represent Asian Stories campaign. We’ll kick things off in Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month by celebrating stories across the diaspora and continue our efforts through June.
We are revamping our Represent Asian Stories hub on PRH.com to give the site a new look and feel. Updates include highlighting approximately 200 books across different categories as well as two new lists focusing on Historical Fiction and Sci-Fi/Fantasy by AANHPI authors.
Promotion for these titles will include dedicated emails, social promotion, paid media support, ReadDown lists, and partnerships with key influencers on TikTok and Instagram. We are also continuing our work with ISA—an influencer agency that has been pivotal to some of our successes in the past—to help us secure talent for a new initiative to create book trailers for AANHPI books.
With the goal of inviting more readers into the PRH community, we’ll also launch a giveaway featuring a collection of books by AANHPI authors across all genres and age ranges, including Stay True by Hua Hsu and Loot by Tania James.
Penguin Random House is committed to inviting new and diverse readers into our community by connecting with AANHPI readers this month and throughout the year. Feel free to use #RepresentAsianStories to join the conversation across social media!
