To showcase some of the biggest and buzziest books of 2023, Penguin Random House is thrilled to announce the continuation of our year-end campaign tradition, The Year in Books 2023: The Stories We Share, live now!
Something special happens when we share stories. We might find that we have a lot in common, despite our differences, or that we’re not so alone in our experiences. We might discover something that makes us feel seen for the first time. We might discover something we didn’t even know we needed.
This year, we have launched a dedicated website featuring curated collections celebrating nearly three hundred titles and authors that helped us connect with one another. From categories like “The Stories That Made Us Feel Alive” to “The Stories That Sparked Young Imaginations,” these lists span age and genre, highlighting the books we turned to for all our wants and needs in 2023.
Alongside the site, we created an exclusive stationery set for readers who sign up for the PRH newsletter, encouraging them to write a note and share a story with their loved ones this holiday season (or anytime). The first thousand people to sign up will receive a physical set in the mail, and all readers will be able to download and print on their own.
The Year in Books site, the stationery set, and related ReadDown lists will be supported via a large-scale advertising campaign as well as across our brand channels, with the goal of bringing new audiences into the Penguin Random House ecosystem and driving book discovery and purchase intent for holiday gifting. You can join the conversation on social media using #YearInBooks and tagging @PenguinRandomHouse.
As we turn the page on another great year of publishing fantastic, thought-provoking books at Penguin Random House, we send all of you our gratitude for trusting us with your words. See you in 2024!
