Penguin Random House is thrilled to invite you to Author University 2026 on Tuesday, March 3, from 1 to 5 p.m. ET on Zoom. Sessions include a deep dive on the current bookselling marketplace, a refresher on your royalty statements and the PRH Author Portal, and a lively author panel on creativity and productivity. The sessions will be followed by a social hour for you to connect with other PRH authors.

MARCH 3
1–2 p.m. | “The State of Publishing 2026: Key Issues, Insights & Marketplace Updates”
PRH Global CEO Nihar Malaviya will kick off the event with an introduction, followed by a marketplace update by Reid Welsh, VP of Insights & Analytics.
2–3 p.m. | “Author Toolkit: Understanding Your Royalty Statement & Navigating the PRH Author Portal”
In this special Author University training, Phyllis Treppiedi-Papp, Associate Director of Royalty Operations, and Jacky Bethea, Associate Manager of Author Development, will demonstrate how to understand a royalty statement and explore all the features available in the Author Portal.*
*For Sourcebooks authors, the portal is licensed to distribute royalties only, so some of the features we cover may not be available.
3–4 p.m. | “PRH Authors on Beating Writer’s Block and Fueling Creativity”
Bestselling authors Allegra Goodman, Chris Guillebeau, Meera Lee Patel, and Phil Stamper share their insights on motivation and creativity.
4–5 p.m. | Zoom Social Hour for PRH Authors!
